Below is a list of our fantastic workshops (art classes). Many run over several weeks. If you discover that you’ve just missed the start date, don’t panic. Many of our workshops get repeated several times through the year. We’ll post the next dates as soon as we know them.

Ever wanted to join an art class and develop your talent? My classes are targeted at keen beginners and intermediate level artists. They are structured but informal and will allow you to develop at your own pace. The next classes will begin 7th February 2013 (one per week on Thursday evenings for seven weeks) at the Blend(er) Gallery in Joondalup, Perth. These classes will focus mainly on the figure in a variety of settings. In addition, students will be instructed in the drawing techniques that are a recommended preparation for watercolor work, including a life-session with a model.
Master the art of watercolour painting with the help of an award winning artist Renata Wright. These beginners’ classes will be held in the friendly environment of the blend(er).
Classes are aimed at beginners as well as ongoing students. The classes are mixed as each person develops at their own pace. More capable students are often a great inspiration to the beginners.
Each workshop runs for 7 weeks. Here are the dates:
Tuesdays: 6.30 pm – 9.00pm
05th, 12th, 19th, and 26th February. 2nd, 09th and 23rd of April
Saturdays: 9.30am – 12.00 noon
2nd, 9th, 16th, and 23 of February. 6th, 13th and 20th of April
Classes cost $160.00 per term of 7 lessons. That does not include the cost of materials and equipment which students need to purchase separately (a list is supplied on enrolment).

Judy Rogers brings us another series of her popular workshop during February 2013
This is contemporary studio work with old masters’ discipline. You’ll create work on your own subject matter using your mediums (paint, ink, pencils, pastels etc.). With Judy’s enthusiasm and wealth of knowledge and experience, you will be encouraged to explore your creativity and individuality. Confident in many media, Judy can give guidance in acrylics, drawing mediums, collage and mixed media. Each class will include a set lesson and short demonstration then time to work on an individual artwork.
Thursdays 10am-1pm.
Starting on the 7th of Febraury
Cost: $150, six weeks. Classes are subject to numbers.
